Includes admission to the Park and an educational workshop for groups of minimum 15 and maximum 30 participants.
Duration: half day
At the Vulci Naturalistic and Archaeological Park, visitors can take part in guided tours and/or educational workshops. All the programmes for schools visiting Vulci are divided into routes designed for schools of every level. The Park becomes an open-air book: with the guided tour of the Park, walking along ancient paved roads and surrounded by the remains of important Etruscan and Roman buildings, visitors cross the ancient city on foot and reach the splendid Lake Pellicone. Alternatively, they can set out to discover some of the best-known Etruscan tombs, such as the Tomb of the Inscriptions and the François Tomb, with the guided tour of the Eastern Necropolis. The history of the ancient centre can be explored in greater depth by observing the precious finds preserved in the medieval Castle of La Badia during the guided tour of the Archaeological Museum. Visitors can also experience the nature and history of Vulci first-hand by taking part in the many educational workshops, where they can experiment and touch the essence of this land.
